Alyson Lee Hannigan (March 24, 1974) is an American actress, born in Washington, D.C.

She is best known for her roles in long-lasting series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and How I Met Your Mother. Alyson also had a role as Michelle Flaherty in the American Pie movie series.

Her career have started at the age of 4 – her first roles in commercials. At the age of 11 she moved to Hollywood.

Alyson Hannigan is married her co-star of the Buffy series Alexis Denisof. They have two kids.
