Madeleine Stowe (August 18, 1958) is an American actress, born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was from a prominent political family in Costa Rica.
At early stages of her career she appeared mostly on television, before Madeline stroke gold with her breakthrough role in the 1987 crime-comedy film Stakeout. Later she starred in the films Revenge, The Last of the Mohicans, Bad Girls, China Moon, 12 Monkeys, The General’s Daughter, We Were Soldiers, and others.
Her latest success was ABC’s hit series Revenge (she played main antagonist Victoria Grayson). For the role Madeleine Stowe was nominated for the 2012 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Drama Series.
