Juliette Lake Lewis (June 21, 1973) is an American actress and singer, born in Los Angeles, California.
Like most of Hollywood stars she began her career with small part roles in TV series and movies. Everything have turned after her performance in Cape Fear, as she received bunch of nominations as best supporting actress (including nod from Academy Award and Golden Globe jury).
Her filmography includes such titles as Husbands and Wives, Kalifornia, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Natural Born Killers, The Basketball Diaries, Strange Days, From Dusk till Dawn, The Evening Star, The Other Sister, The Way of the Gun, Old School, Starsky & Hutch, Whip It, Conviction, August: Osage County, and others. Juliette Lewis also starred in TV series The Firm, Wayward Pines, and Secrets and Lies, while her performance in HBO original film Hysterical Blindness brought her Emmy Award nomination.
In the middle of 2000, Lewis decided to diversify her career and decided to add singing to the list of her talents. Since that time she is leading her rockband Juliette and the Licks and recording solo albums as well.
