Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (15 April 1990) is an English actress and model, born in Paris, France.
Emma Watson is best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, she’ve started to work at the age of 9. Later she starred and made an appearences in such movies as My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Circle, Beauty and the Beast, Noah, This is the End, etc. Her latest success is the role of Meg March in Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women (a novel by Louisa May Alcott).
Her accolades include more than 50 different nominations and several Young Artist Awards, Empire Awards, Capri Art Film Festival Awards, MTV and Teen Choice Awards. In 2014 Emma won British Artist of the year award. Lately Emma Watson is best known for her work as an activist. In 2014 she was became a UN Women Goodwill ambassador and launched the UN Women campaign HeForShe. In July 2019, Watson helped to launch a charity line for a legal advice to people who have suffered sexual harassment at work.
Watson is single, or “self-partnered” as she described it herself in one of the interviews in 2019.
