Her other on screen appearences feature the horror movie At the Devil’s Door, TV show Devious Maids and online series Step Up: High Water.
During her Glee stint like some of her co-stars she signed a contract with Columbia Records, but recorded just one single with her then boyfriend Big Sean – “Sorry”.
In 2014 Naya married fellow actor Ryan Dorsey. Couple went strong for several years and had a child, but decided to split after 4 years of marriage.

After several day of search and rescue, her dead body was found in the lake. Naya survived by her son (Josey), brother (pro-NFL player Mychal), sister (Nickayla Rivera) and her parents (Yolanda Rivera and George Rivera).
