Alexandrea Borstein (February 15, 1973) is an American actress, writer, producer, and comedian born in Highland Park, Illinois.
First success came to her as she was cast in the sketch comedy series MADtv, but she might be better known to a wider audience as the voice behind Lois Griffin in the animated comedy series Family Guy.
Her most successful role to date would be Susie Myerson in the Amazon dramedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award.
Alex Bornstein also had supporting roles in numerous films, including The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Catwoman, Good Night, and Good Luck, Dinner for Schmucks, Ted, ParaNorman, A Million Ways to Die in the West, and others.
