Alan Wray Tudyk (March 16, 1971) is an American actor and voice actor, born in El Paso, Texas.

He is best known to a hige sci-fi fanbase by his role Hoban “Wash” Washburne in Firefly and movie Serenity. Tudyk wrote, directed and starred in the comedy web series Con Man. He played the lead in Tucker & Dale vs. Evil and has also appeared in the films DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story; I, Robot; A Knight’s Tale; 42; Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and Rogue One.

He is lending his voice to Iago in the forthcoming movie Aladdin (2019).
