Lena Kathren Headey (3 October 1973) is an English actress of Irish decent, born in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Her latest success is the role of Cersei Lannister on the HBO drama series Game of Thrones. The show brought her 4 Emmy Award Nominations and single nod for a Golden Globe.

Before Game of Thrones Lena Heady actively worked on film sets, participating in such movies like The Brothers Grimm, both parts of the 300 film series, Ripley’s Game, Dredd, The Purge, etc. She also played lead role of Sarah Connor in the spin-off TV series of the Terminator franchaise – Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

She is married to director Dan Cadan. That’s her second marriage after musician Peter Loughran. Has two children – one with each husband. Lena lives in West Yorkshire, England.
