Rita Moreno (December 11, 1931) is a Puerto Rican actress, dancer and singer, born in Humacao, Puerto Rico.
Her notable acting work are supporting roles in the musical films The King and I and West Side Story, as well as a the children’s television series The Electric Company, and a supporting role in the TV drama Oz.
Moreno is one of the few artists to have won all four major annual American entertainment awards: an Oscar (West Side Story), an Emmy (The Muppet Show and The Rockford Files), a Grammy (The Electric Company Album) and a Tony (The Ritz). Rita Moreno also has won numerous other awards, including various lifetime achievement awards and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, America’s highest civilian honor.
In her biography, Moreno stated that Elvis Presley was not a good lover.
