Paul William Walker IV (September 12, 1973 – November 30, 2013) was an American actor, born in Glendale, California. He is best known for his role as Brian O’Conner in The Fast and the Furious franchise.
Walker began his small screen career as a toddler, when he starred in a television commercial for Pampers. Later he earned his keep by guest-starring on TV shows such as The Young and the Restless and Touched by an Angel. Paul participated in such films as She’s All That, Varsity Blues, Joy Ride, Timeline, Into the Blue, Eight Below, and Running Scared.
Major success came to him after the first film of The Fast and the Furious franchise. He reprised the role of undercover cop Brian o’Connor in five of the next six installments, and died in the middle of filming Furious 7.
He died because of the car crash (Paul along with his friend crashed into a concrete lamp post and trees, cars caught in flames and exploded). Walker died from the combined effects of trauma and burns. Both of their bodies were burned beyond recognition. Paul Walker is survived by daughter Meadow.
