James Dornan (May 1, 1982) is an actor, model, and musician from Northern Ireland, born in Holywood, County Down.

He is best known for the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise. James Dornan also had a several years stint in the ABC’s fantasy series Once Upon a Time, played a serial killer in the BBC Two drama series The Fall. The latter brought him an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actor in Television and along with a nomination for a British Academy Television Award for Best Actor.

Dornan ia married to an English actress and singer-songwriter Amelia Warner. They have two daughters.

In 2006, James Dornan was proclaimed the “male Kate Moss” by GQ and was ranked one of the “25 Biggest Male Models of All Time” by Vogue in 2015.
