Morena Silva de Vaz Setta or as she is better known Morena Baccarin (June 2, 1979) is a Brazilian-American actress, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She is best known for the sci-fi series Firefly (along with the follow-up film Serenity), the series Stargate SG-1 (and the follow-up film Stargate: The Ark of Truth), and the reboot of the series V. Her latest long-term project is the Fox series Gotham (series will end this year). She also portrayed Vanessa in the Deadpool movie franchise.

Morena Baccarin is married to her Gotham co-star Ben MacKenzie. Her first husband was Austin Chick.
