Leighton Marissa Meester (April 9, 1986) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and model, born in Fort Woeth, Texas.

Her breakthrough role came in 2007 as she started to portray the devious socialite Blair Waldorf on The CW drama series Gossip Girl. She also appeared in movies Killer Movie, Country Strong, The Roommate, Monte Carlo, The Oranges and The Judge. Meester made her Broadway debut in Of Mice and Men.

At the moment she stars in ABC sitcom Single Parents.

Leighton Meester released her solo album Heartstrings in 2014. As a model she have been a face of brands as Jimmy Choo, Herbal Essences, and Vera Wang.

She is maried to fellow actor Adam Brody. The couple has one child.
